Disney Store swimsuits run small (skinny) so if in doubt order up. I have a very tiny 4 yr old, 37 in tall, 29 lbs who is very skinny. I ordered a 4 and it fits well with room to get taller and gain weight too. My daughter is usually a 4 in clothes for height and a 3T for waist size. The shoulder straps are adjustable which is very helpful. The princess design is part of the fabric and it should hold up well. I will update if it doesn't. The design of this suit is very cute.Very pretty but unfortunately size is off. Order at least one size upIt fits perfectly on my daughter!!!Great product! My daughter loves it!Fits perfect
